The music does not always respond to the call of a romantic muse or do not necessarily follow the path of emotion.
He is some composers who play with the sound phenomenon for what he is: a wave in vibration or who enjoy following a logic which is calculated and whose arithmetic gives itself to understand with as much transparency as a pendulum from which the box of wood would have been removed.
The pulleys, wheels, balancers organize according to physical or mathematical principles, the course of which follows an inexorably logical line. After the first, there's the second, then the third, then the...?
By explaining the preparation of a John Cage score, by involving children in random operations, by singing the principle of a Georges Aperghis sound pyramid or by following the cryptic wanderings of a Tom Johnson piece, the three performers propose to share on a stage or in the classrooms, scores to count, pyramids of phonemes, additions of sounds and groups of rhythms.
A table, a table, platelets that pull themselves by lottery wheels and that is the music that unfolds by bringing with the simplicity of a wink d'oeil, the fun of a logic that follows strictly respected mathematical principles.
