The Flutist Vincent Martial come to work on his new project: Inside

Inside is an alto and bass flute solo, both extremely amplified. Passing from one universe to another in an instant, or developing hypnotic insistence, writing is open, mixing play modes that serve as a framework for a free interpretation. Between writing and improvisation, Inside develops energetic and microscopic music, causing a dive into the worlds usually not perceptible.
The project starts with an internal amplification system set up for the flute. The contribution of amplification and especially of the position of the microphone leads to the development of unconventional modes of play and to the production of a palette of sounds that pushes back the frame of the traditional instrument. The sets of keys, breaths, lips and voices are multiplied by the breadth of the details that appear. The instrument itself becomes an object of resonance which enters into dialogue with the diffusion system, mixing the notes and frequencies played by the breath with those generated by feedback.
