Espèces Compagnes
Sound and musical duo
In Espèces Compagnes, cellist Martine Altenburger and two accomplices sound artists, Émilie Mousset and Claire Mahieux, question in a sensitive way the question of the links between the different species, human and animal, and especially through the figure of the dog which bears in itself the symbol of what we can feel of this mysterious and profound relationship which is that of attachment and interaction.
Sounds and words collected from the inhabitantsspecies... mingle with pieces and improvisations played at the cello to weave the threads of a story open to the perception of each.e.
