In collaboration with the association La Moustache and other associations of Jarnages, Epicentre proposes to create with dancers, dancers, musicians and amateur musicians Rosas dance Rosas the remix project., a project that will be performed during the Carnival of Jarnages on March 21, 2026.

What?
In 1983, the Rosas company made a name with the Rosas dance show Rosas. Since then, choreography has been presented in the world.

PRESENTATION OF THE CHOREGRAPHIC PARTICIPATION
The piece is a participative work whose choreography is very precisely described and explained on the site https://www.rosasdanstrosas.be/home/
The principle is to encourage people from around the world to initiate and dance the project.
Spaces, scenery and even music are completely free. The original music of Thierry De Mey is also free to download.
Hundreds of videos have been made and continue to be posted. All are collected on the site of Rosas Danst Rosas.
Our project to make you dance this piece will be filmed and posted! It will appear among all the other videos!

CONTEXT OF CREATION
The first of Rosas dance Rosas took place on 6 May 1983 at the Balsamine Theatre in Brussels.

CHOREGRAPHICAL PRINCIPLE
We will meet again to interpret the second movement of Rosas Danst Rosas.
The principle is to sit on a chair and interpret the 6 movements and 1 silence that make up the structure of the room.
We will work on the gestures and the organization of these gestures during the workshops offered in Épicentre.When?

CARNAVAL
It is at the Jarnages Carnival, a celebration that brings together the inhabitants that our version of Rosas dance Rosas Saturday 21 March from 4 p.m. under the lobby.
The duration of the room is 20 minutes.
Our performance will be filmed as one of hundreds of versions interpreted and posted on the site rosasdanstross.be !
