From February 3 to 9, 2024, the two artists are in residence in Epicentre to work on the sounding of their duo and for a recording.
Sound chimera, in the interlacs of the strings, the meeting of Nelly Mousset and Pom Bouvier-b is made in the physicality of the music. Density of spaces and movements. One plays the double bass which becomes a world in itself of breaths, cracks and resonance; the other activates its « Roller », hybrid instruments covered with electric currents and crystalline bursts.
Together, they explore the contrasts, between smooth noise and the power of acoustic sound.
Improvisation leads them to unfold amazing and unpredictable sound worlds.
