Sound and musical duo
In Espèces Compagnes, cellist Martine Altenburger and three accomplices sound artists, Émilie Mousset, Claire Mahieux and Lê Quan Ninh, examine in a sensitive way the question of the links between different species, human and animal, and in particular through the figure of the dog which bears in itself the symbol of what we can feel of this so mysterious and profound relationship which is that of attachment and interaction.
Sounds and words collected from the inhabitantsspecies... mingle with pieces and improvisations played at the cello to weave the threads of a story open to the perception of each.e.
