At the invitation of Aurélie Delémontez, professor of plastic art at Octave Gachon College in Parsac-Rimondeix, Lê Quan Ninh conducted a sound creation workshop with a dozen sessions throughout the school year 2023-2024.
Microphones were made by students with capsules AOM5024. Sound jacks were made with PVC tubes surrounded by hose foam and simple metal hangers to separate the microphone torque and obtain a stereo image, all connected to small digital recorders.
So equipped·The students were able to initiate the taking of its mainly within the college by collecting atmospheres and the words of a few employees·es. The next steps were: « derushing », naming, editing and mixing using free software Audacity. Some sounds were also gleaned from a sound bank on the web. Some students also responded to their teacher's invitation about surrealism.
