The disc: a sound material
Great record collectors, the musician and the musician play only vinyl records – 33 turns and 45 turns of their respective collection. Using individual memory and mutual listening, they improvise with materials and compose live, «musical» What happens at the moment T. With platinums and effects modules, they manipulate the object, in an active gesture, closer to that of the instrument than to the computer. Borrowing from the whole palette of electronics – scratch, loop, backwards reading, speed change, etc. – the two artists mix their music and display the cover of the discs played in front of the plates.
Acoustic and electro-acoustic contemporary music discs, electronic music, free improvisation music, experimental music, free-jazz, sound poetry are the main ingredients of their mixtures as well as some discs «Documentaries» – such as a record by Claude Samuel, producer and musicologist of France musique and a record by Antoine Goléa on serial music – or theatre, for voice and music « old » voice. That said, everyone is entitled to their own «joker» : a disc recognizable by all.
The records played mainly date back to the 50s, 60s and 70s and then resume today with the return of vinyl.

Recording: a sound emotion
This DJ Set is also to share with the audience the first emotion in front of the magic of a sound that appears due to the brushing of a microsillon engraved in polyvinyl chloride. Inert matter can create a whole sound world evoking the appearance of the emerging genius after friction of the Aladdin lamp.
From John Cage to DJ Set electro
