Weekend #2: 23-25 June
The fruit of the relationship with the musician and composer Théo Mérigeau – working in contemporary writings and developing a deep interest in Balinese music – this second weekend invites you to discover a music between tradition and creation.

Dandaka Forest
Among the projects built and shared with the partners in the territory this year, a project was born with the Jarnages School around music and the practice of gamelan, an iconic instrument of Indonesia.
With four artists from Pantcha Indra, all the children and teachers at the school created this show combining music, dance and puppetry.
These projects received special support from ONDA and the Indonesian Embassy.
SATURDAY, 24 JUNE

Calonarang
Driven by 26 artists from the Pantcha Indra Cie, this new show of shadow theatre and dance immerse us in the great tradition of Indonesian epic. Accompanied by the ensemble Puspawarna playing on a Balinese gamelan, the dancers and narrator content us with the story of Calonarang, queen of the Dirah forest.
SUNCH 25 JUNE
at Jarnages

The Gamelan, between tradition and creation
Ltogether Puspawarna composed of his 20 musicians offers us a discovery of Balinese gamelan, mixing with traditional music, some more contemporary pieces by Balinese composer Krishna Sutedja.
